Being a Successful Young Entrepreneurs
By: Musthafa Kamil
An entrepreneur is a person who is able to see and get business opportunities, also able to take appropriate action in the success of business. Today many teenagers
who are more pleased in doing business than being a teacher and
there are many teenagers started the business whether it's an online business
and home industry. Also There are many people who have succeeded as Victor Giova Raihan from Malang who started doing business at the
age of 18th years with fast-food
beverage business.
Become an entrepreneur is not easy because it must have a strong determination. In addition an entrepreneur need to know five things to be an entrepreneur at teenager such as
1. Having a positive mental
Being a teenage entrepreneur should be able to control his attitudes that are positive. So by having a positive attitude can influence his mind in doing a good business.
2. Having a strong desire
Adolescence is a greatest time in which we must have strong desire and great energy to grow and try new things. In business, sometime we are at high level and also we are at low level, it means failure and this failure cannot be avoided as part of the risk of doing business.
3. Focus
Focus on the business that you do can help to make your business thrive.
Many entrepreneurs who are just starting a business is already open and create
a new business, this will only make tableware to focus on building its
business. Instead of making the business becomes more advanced, it will make it
disintegrate because it does not focus in the run.
4. Learn from
others.
Successful
entrepreneurs often worked for others in their field of choice before striking
out on their own. Spending a few years in the industry under an excellent
mentor will provide a good launching pad. Learn from your predecessors’
mistakes and brainstorm about how to improve upon their model. Find someone
willing to teach, and think about starting your business elsewhere when you
leave.
5. It’s never
too late to start.
Many successful entrepreneurs
started later in life. J. K. Rowling (Harry Potter author), Julia Child (chef),
and Sam Walton (Wal-Mart) all started their wildly successful brands after they
were comfortably along in their lives. Having the experience that comes with
age can give you a unique outlook on your business. Life experiences bring
depth that the most educated young adult, by his or her nature, is less able to
foresee.
So, people who
do business in adolescence are more successful than doing business in
old age.
